I’m a journalism student and needed a rig for my iPhone. I’m taking a lot of production classes and will be using this rig often. So far, I’m very very happy with it. Not too expensive but also very well made. I can’t speak to how this rig works with cameras but for my iPhone pro 12 it works perfectly.

Disclaimer: I was sent this to use on my show then give a honest review.So it came fast and was packaged nicely. Its set nicely in its box with directions which are very clear. Now my limited use so far has been great!! Being covid I have yet to field test with onsite interviews. I use it at home in my studio while doing zoom interviews. Its pretty basic in use as its easy to move around and lock in to the parts or holders where you need them. Very sturdy- but still light and feels balanced. The lights are adjustable in brightness and they have the cutest little barn doors to adjust the direction of the lights. Highly recommend for vlogging or anything you want to up the quality A plus!

The mount has a very flexible and adaptive configuration. In fact, I was able to beef up my rig beyond what I had originally anticipated by adding a solar charger to it so my camera can stay charged even longer. But the more you add, the weight becomes more of an issue. The mount holds everything in place and feels sturdy (although the mic could stand to be a little better in this department).Where my issue comes into play is the tripod. Once attached, the weight of the unit (with all the attachments, becomes “floppy”. It’s not the mounts fault, it’s the tripod (I’m using a Sunpak PG6000).So as long as you have a sturdy plate mount on your tripod, I think you’ll be incredibly happy with this.
